How to arrange an interior in marine style? What exactly is this style and why does it increasingly attract our attention? We present 5 things that are necessary when creating this interior.
In the series "5 ways to interior" we present advice on specific styles that you can be inspired by when creating a place for yourself. Marine style is not particularly popular in Poland. It is supposed to evoke oceans and coasts, gently alluding to the resort style of hampton. It is worth putting in it nautical accents without kitsch. How to do it? We suggest!
1. white on furniture
First of all, we should bet on white in the case of furniture that will evoke in us memories of the period spent at sea. White is not only the color of Greek islands, but also simple furniture in resort rooms.

2 - Blue and navy blue
While white reigns supreme in furniture, when it comes to walls and accessories, it's a good idea to spread the accents with colors of navy blue and blue. This way we will perfectly harmonize the space in a unique way, and the shades of blue will constantly remind us of the sea.
Let's not forget the blue!

3 Natural materials or linen, canvas bags and canvases
While modern materials play perfectly in some interiors, let's let go of marine style right away! Let real wood, fabrics and canvases, evoking fishing nets, appear in your interiors. Materials are a must!

4 - Let the accessories be the most original!
If we are already talking about accessories, do not forget the principle of quality, not quantity. The nautical style should not lack, if only, an old oar, a wooden box or accessories from ships. These items may be more difficult to find, but they are certainly more unique, giving a real character to your interior.

5. hammock!
There is no true nautical style without a hammock, just a decent way to stretch out and lie down. This natural way of resting on ships should accompany any interior in this style.
